Fixed Price Development Schedule

All fixed price development is predicated on the existence of an approved database design.

Database Design

Database design costs $2500 for databases of 25 tables or less.  Add a hundred dollars for each additional table required.  This process is intended to be concluded within two weeks.

Standard Persistence Framework

A standard persistence framework is the foundation of any data-driven application.  It can be used by a Web application, a Windows application, or a web service.  It includes and is built on top of the data store.  Pricing is on a per table basis.

A standard persistence framework includes the database, of course, and it usually has the following for each data table:  five stored procedures, a dataset class, a SqlCommand class, a business object class, a business object test class, a test data entry form, and  a test data list form.  The test forms are delivered in the form of a Web administrative interface that often meets most of the internal needs of  an organization (so far as the stored data is concerned).

Changes to any of the underlying tables will trigger a $200 change fee for each field added or changed.

User Interfaces

User Interfaces consist of a number of components, each of which requires its own special attention.

Graphic Design for Application

Create a standard look and feel for the application -- $1500 for basic application
Create a look and feel for a specific page or report -- $500 each.

Form and Report Creation

Create New Forms -- $100 per form plus $50 per field represented plus $50 per button or other non-field control.
Create New Reports -- $200 per report plus $50 per field represented.
